I launched Sage as a lifestyle store in September 2006, indulging my lifelong weakness for beautiful and unusual things, and two years later, following a fantastic response it seemed only natural to expand the business and launch the online store.

I set out to offer a unique shopping experience one that makes you feel good with a soothing, restful environment and a firm emphasis on satisfying the senses through fragrance, texture, quality and good-looks. I hand-pick everything myself and never, ever select anything I wouldn't (or don't already!) have in my own home. Wherever possible products are sourced from British designers but also on offer are inspiring discoveries from all over Europe and the rest of the world.

I believe that shopping should be about discovery, an experience and a delight for the senses, something personal and primarily about the pleasure and contentment which comes from surrounding yourself with beautiful finds – very much like surrounding yourself with your favourite people!

Softer than soft blankets to curl up in on a chilly night, fragrant candles to help re-balance the day, beautiful glasses to share wine with friends, lazy floor cushions for sunny afternoons, or heirloom family games for memories to be made. By surrounding ourselves with the things we love, we make a house a home.
